On ~ Going Children's Art Lessons - AGES 6-18

Description:

These on-going, age appropriate, affordable art lessons, focus on the fundamentals

of drawing and painting. Students will gain confidence in their creative abilities, while learning in a positive, noncompetitive and relaxed environment. This is not a "crafty" class! These lessons are for the student who enjoys drawing and painting and wants to learn how to use a variety of materials and improve their drawing and painting skills. Linda is a certified, Art Educator with a degree from UNC-Greensboro in K~12 Art Education, 1980. She has over 40 years of teaching experience in the public schools and charter school system. Linda has taught art lessons at Sunflower Studio since 2001.

Duration/Cost:

Lessons will begin the first full week in August and end the last week of April. (No lessons/tuition the month of December). Payment options due the first of the month are:

*Checks - $85 (make out to Linda Burrell or Sunflower Studio) *Cash - $80 (in envelope with name of student) Please put payment in the drop box inside the door of the studio.

*Late Fee - $5 (after the 5th of the month).

* $25 total discount for two students in one family.

If students need to be absent due to sickness or track-out vacations, classes can be made up on an alternate day, during an age-appropriate class, if there is room. Please call to schedule.

Days/Times:

Tuesday Afternoons: 4:30 ~ 5:30 (Ages 11 ~ 18)

Tuesday Afternoons: 5:30 ~ 6:30 (Ages 6 ~ 10)

or

Thursday Afternoons: 4:30 ~ 5:30 (Ages 6 ~ 10)

Thursday Afternoons: 5:30 ~ 6:30 (Ages 11~ 18)

Late fees will be assessed when children are picked up late. This fee is $1.00 per minute/per child. Teachers may have other commitments directly after class. Thank you for respecting our time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this important policy.

By signing below, I agree that I will not hold Sunflower Studio, Linda Burrell or any other person in the studio responsible for any injuries or sickness that occurs in the building or on the grounds while attending art lessons. In the event of sickness or injury during a class, I give Linda and other staff permission to take necessary actions to provide emergency treatment.
